The purpose of this position is to provide project level management - planning, oversight and execution across multiple projects within the Sony Marketing and Creative in service of Sony Pictures Entertainment constituents including but not limited to Sony Pictures International Production, Sony Networks and FAST Channels, Tv Distribution, Theatrical, Home Entertainment, P&O, etc regional brand initative. This position reports into the Regional Art Director and Art Producer Manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
50% Project Management – Assist the lead producer (EP, Senior Producer or Producer) or act as the project lead for small scale initiatives across a variety of brand identity, graphic, editorial and other projects for original and acquired properties, Sony Global Marketing and other internal Sony Pictures Entertainment partners/business units. Help schedule kick-offs, review sessions and presentations based on project schedule. Work closely with lead producer and ACD on the creation of daily assignments, review sessions and presentations to ensure projects stay on target. Create detailed notes and next steps. Responsible for daily project updates including but not limited to budget, schedule, resources, and progress on deliverables. Confirm all technical specifications are accurate throughout the project and all internal processes and workflows are maintained. Ensure successful project delivery including actualized budget, internal archiving etc. Required to meet budgets and quick turnaround deadlines.
30% Communication and Collaboration – Exhibit professionalism and build a positive relationship throughout the project with all Sony Marketing and Creative team members. Actively participate in review sessions and presentations to help further the overall project goals.
10% New Project Facilitation – Assist senior team members in the creation of new project proposals, and setting up the internal needs (project documents, asset requests etc.) once a project is approved to move forward.
5% Maintain familiarity with current culture and design trends and strive to continue the Sony Marketing and Creative as a department for cutting edge excellence and quality.
5% Exhibit a willingness to take on responsibilities outside of his/her job description and the ability to respond to business demands in a fast-paced environment.
Work Experience Requirements
1-3 years in production in marketing services, creative service agencies, network promotions or a similar field (broadcast, digital, print, experiential a plus)
Primary skills include: excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal and collaboration, problem solving, time and project management
Fluid English and Spanish verbal and written. Portuguese is a plus
Ability to manage projects from concept through execution
Passionate about original, acquired and library content and global branding initiatives
Ability to work flexible hours
Bachelor Degree from 4 year college or university
Creativity, leadership, ability to think strategically, innovation, teamwork, ability to multi-task,
communication skills, time management, prioritization skills a must

He/she is passionate about strategic branding and creative and the elevation of these brands. He/she is interested in entering, creating and sustaining an informed dialogue with the fan base from existing platforms as well as discovering additional avenues to engage new audiences specifically regarding social content creation.
