The SPT Marketing Organization at Sony Pictures Television supports the entire lifecycle of our series, from supporting the initial sale with pitch materials, to collaborating with first window network partners on marketing campaigns, to creating and managing marketing assets with Distribution teams.

We are seeking a dedicated Social Media Creative Coordinator to join our growing team. You will collaborate with other creatives to ideate, design, and execute creative content & campaigns across our SPT social channels. You should be able to create and design social media content using various design tools, while adhering to our brand style guides and standards. This position reports into the Creative Director and collaborates with other team members across departments.

Responsibilities

Creative Coordinator must be able to work as a team member, but also be a resourceful self-starter and have proficient knowledge of various social platforms. Must exhibit strong leadership skills and the ability to see projects from concept through execution with minimal supervision. Proficient working knowledge of Abobe Creative Suite and Keynote is required. Excellent photoshop, illustration, typography, and compositing. Is able to take creative direction, meet deadlines, and relishes collaboration and growth.

The Creative Coordinator is a great communicator and is punctual, maintains an efficient workflow, and promptly communicates any issues regarding design and production to management. Accurately documents work related information via work orders, etc. Works hand-in-hand with Production and Marketing team. Manages assets and archives projects accordingly and understands delivery.

They will exhibit willingness to take on responsibilities outside of the job description and has the ability to respond to business demands in a fast-paced environment. Presents a positive and professional attitude to stakeholders and co-workers.

The Creative Coordinator maintains familiarity with current culture, design and marketing trends, social platforms and the relevance of fans and audiences. Exhibits an innate sense of curiosity.

Requirements

  • Expert proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote experience a plus.
  • Ability to manage projects from concept through execution unsupervised.
  • Prolific storyteller.
  • Strong proficiency in branding initiatives.
  • Passionate about social media design and animation.
  • Experience in 2D animation and editing footage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Passionate story maker.
  • A pulse of pop culture and social trends in design, marketing and advertising.
  • Knowledge of social platforms.
  • Bachelor Degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design or Film
The anticipated base salary for this position is $49,300 to $64,700. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
