The Sony Pictures Entertainment Internship program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build your resume, experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, valuable networking opportunities, and many educational and social opportunities. This Fall Internship is from September through December and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours a week, Monday through Friday (flexible depending on school schedule) on a hybrid schedule in Culver City.

Department Description:

The Entertainment & Innovation Technology Group looks into new ways of creating and implementing Sony’s technology into entertainment in creative ways utilizing R&D technologies in products.  The E&IT Group promotes creative thinking, research, and development of new & upcoming ideas and methods approach.

Responsibilities:

The individual’s responsibilities will include creating & managing content via Sony’s platform at multiple onsite locations. Creating content at requests from managing departments and/or based on upcoming titles & events. The individual will also troubleshoot and support each setup to ensure proper operations. They will also participate in the feasibility and process of new projects related to onsite installations.  Possible general support on other activations, testing, and events.

Qualifications:

Basic understanding of technology in general – including both software applications and hardware.  Familiar with Windows OS and related applications (such as Office). 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for new technology

  • Understanding or familiarity of game engines (Unity, Unreal), or other design softwares (Maya, Blender, AE, etc.) is a plus

  • Japanese speaking will also be a bonus plus, as we often collaborate with teams in Japan
