REQ ID JR23-11239 Apply View Saved JobsThe role is an 18 month fixed term position and shall undertake the following aspects of Financial Management, with focus on:
- Regulatory and Financial Reporting
- Oversight of financial processes within entity in scope of responsibilities
- Internal Control policies and procedure
- Oversight of all activities performed by external party (Capgemini)
The position involves heavy engagement with internal teams within the In-Territory Finance, other GFO towers & HO Finance executives.
What you'll do:
- Participate in the post stabilization of the knowledge transfer and standardization of processes by reducing their complexity and usage of technology (RPA, Cadency, SAP S4Hana, etc.)
- Oversee General Ledger processes perfomed by Capgemini business partner
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation and company policy
- Participate in development and maintenance of timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), group accounting policies, as well as relevant local rules and regulations
- Drive continuous improvement
- Liaise between the Home Office, Global Financial Operations and other business partners and Capgemini to ensure that SPE is achieving the highest overall results achievable.
What you have:
- MSc in Finance & Accounting or other relevant
- Excellent English skills (oral and written)
- Typically 3 years’ experience of performing General Accounting activities or other core finance process, within a complex, large volume environment
- In-depth knowledge of Financial & Accounting processes
- Good understanding of the entertainment industry would be an advantage
- Good understanding of business specific revenue and cost drivers to execute high quality controls and oversight
- Good working knowledge of SAP Financials
- Appreciation of local regulatory requirements
