REQ ID JR23-11128 Apply View Saved JobsWe are looking for a Production Payroll Accountant to provide payroll processing support and analysis for Sharp Entertainment. Reporting to the Director of Production Accounting, the Production Payroll Accountant will be responsible for assisting in weekly processing of production payroll, including calculation and review of timecards, onboarding, offboarding, audit of payroll invoices, and other ad hoc financial and payroll reporting as necessary. The Production Payroll Accountant will work directly with the Production Executives, Producers, Production Managers, Coordinators, as well as with vendors, clients, Finance Management and Business Affairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process and audit of weekly union/nonunion production payroll. Maintain general organization of employee files and payroll record keeping.
Ad hoc projects and reporting related to payroll & benefits tracking.
Liaison between accounting department, production management, and human resources.
Comply with Sony Accounting reporting requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
Skill In: Proficient in the use of Cast & Crew software – Start+, Studio+, Hours+, PSL+, and various Sony reporting programs. Strong excel skills. Accounting degree is a plus and prior production experience and labor law experience is preferred.

The anticipated base annual salary for this position is $54,200 - $85,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits.
