Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Corporate Programming to lead and oversee the strategic development and execution of our Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs), partnerships, events and projects. This role will play a pivotal part in fostering an inclusive workplace culture by ensuring these initiatives align with the company’s global D&I strategy and business goals. The Director will report directly to the EVP & Chief Diversity Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Oversee and execute the company’s D&I Corporate Programming, ensuring alignment with overall D&I strategy and business goals and values.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Diversity Officer, senior leadership and other departments to ensure D&I efforts are woven into the broader organizational strategy.
  • Set clear D&I Corporate Programming objectives to track progress and assess program effectiveness.
  • Oversee project management of various D&I-related projects and programs

2. Program Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute D&I-focused corporate programs, including training, workshops and Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs).

  • Manage the strategy, planning, and execution of all EBRG initiatives across the company.

  • Partner with EBRG leaders to ensure alignment with organizational D&I goals and provide guidance, resources, and support.

  • Develop and maintain EBRG best practices, ensuring that these groups foster inclusivity and contribute to employee engagement and retention.

  • Monitor and assess the impact of EBRG activities and report on progress.

  • Partner with L&D to identify opportunities to integrate inclusion, and cultural competence into new and existing learning sessions at all organizational levels.

  • Help to ensure D&I programs are scalable, sustainable, and tailored to the needs of the organization.

3.  KPIs and Reporting

  • Help establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of D&I programs and initiatives, providing regular reports to leadership on progress.

  • Use data to identify gaps and opportunities and adjust strategies to drive continuous improvement.

4. Partnerships and Community Engagement:

  • Build relationships with external organizations and communities to support D&I initiatives

  • Represent the company in D&I initiatives, including external events and conferences

  • Oversee D&I partnership, sponsorship and event opportunities at SPE and externally

5. Inclusive Practices Guidance:

  • Assist in advising on inclusive practices and policies internally and across the business

6. Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage the program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of D&I team members supporting the corporate programming.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Typically, 7+ years of experience in D&I or related fields, with at least 5 years of management experience.

  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing corporate programs

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership on corporate initiatives.

Skills:

  • Strong supervisory and project management skills.

  • Proven management skills

  • Ability to analyze data, track program performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a passion for advancing D&I.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $153,000 to $204,000 USD. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
