Director, Strategy & Centralized Services

Position Summary

The Director, Strategy & Centralized Services will oversee administrative and shared service functions, including the Studio Service Center (SSC), Integrated Workplace Management System (Archibus), procure-to-pay administration, union labor timekeeping and payroll processing, reporting and analytics, and department policies and procedures.

The Director will work closely with the department head and senior leadership team to support the creation, prioritization, and execution of department strategy. This includes annual budgeting and planning, goal and objective setting through OKRs, leadership strategy and staff meetings, and other department-wide programs and events.

The position will also partner closely with People Experience, Finance, Procurement, and other corporate functions to improve service delivery, execute priorities effectively, maintain data integrity, and establish consistent and repeatable processes.

Core Responsibilities

Facilities & S3 Business Strategy

  • Serve as a key partner to the EVP and Senior Leadership Team, helping shape department strategy and prioritize goals and initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop all-hands agendas and materials, tri-annual department reporting presentations, budget and mid-range plan (MRP) strategy narratives, executive presentations, and other leadership communications.

Studio Service Center & Administrative Support

  • Provide strategic oversight of the SSC and Administrative teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization of service delivery, including customer call management, response processes, and work order administration.
  • Support operations teams with end-to-end procure-to-pay administration, identifying opportunities to optimize, automate, and standardize processes.
  • Ensure change management and training are incorporated into continuous improvement initiatives.

Financial Administration Strategy

  • Standardize and streamline purchase orders, vendor payments, rent allocations, billing support, union payroll administration, and budget tracking in partnership with Facilities & S3 leadership and Finance.
  • Support the administration and governance of approximately $17M in union payroll, $20M in annual rent payments, and $40M+ in vendor spend.

Systems, Reporting & Analytics

  • Oversee Archibus administration, maintain data integrity, develop reporting and analytics, and support system and process improvements.
  • Partner closely with the PX Strategy Analytics team to ensure department reporting and data needs are met.
  • Leverage enterprise systems, reporting and visualization tools, workflow automation platforms, and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

Policies, Procedures & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with leadership to develop and maintain programs such as Good to Great and OKRs that promote continuous improvement, aspirational goal setting, and accountability for key priorities.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, controls, and operating standards that improve consistency, compliance, efficiency, and service quality.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in business operations, facilities administration, workplace services, shared services, or related operational functions.
  • 5–7+ years of leadership experience managing administrative or operational teams.
  • Experience supporting facilities, corporate real estate, workplace services, or shared services organizations preferred.
  • Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), such as Archibus or similar platforms, preferred.
  • Experience developing and/or managing Objectives and Key Results (OKR) programs.
  • Experience driving process optimization through continuous improvement methodologies, including ESOAR or similar frameworks.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong business operations and administrative management experience.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, vendor management, procure-to-pay processes, and financial administration.
  • Experience with facilities operations, space management, and work order management.
  • Experience with Archibus or another IWMS platform; familiarity with SAP, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise systems preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, data visualization, workflow automation, AI-enabled productivity tools, and enterprise reporting systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience developing operational reports, dashboards, KPIs, and actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop executive-level presentations, business cases, strategic narratives, and leadership communications.
  • Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing policies, procedures, controls, and process improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $159,300-$199,100. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
