Our internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, as well as individuals seeking to deepen their education through immersive, professional experience in the entertainment industry.
The Global Security Systems team oversees the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s global physical security technology infrastructure. The team manages access control, video surveillance, GSOC support systems, and related integrations while driving workflow design, system mapping, and operational health monitoring to ensure secure and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support system mapping across security platforms, including device relationships, integrations, and ownership documentation.
- Assist in building and tracking system health metrics and dashboards across multiple security technologies.
- Help design and document workflows to improve operational efficiency and system visibility.
- Support reporting, data validation, and performance analysis for security systems.
- Assist with project documentation and cross-functional coordination with IT, Facilities, and Security stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Security Management, or related field.
- Strong Excel skills with ability to organize, analyze, and present data clearly.
- Strong written communication skills with ability to document technical systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Basic understanding of access control, surveillance systems, or IT infrastructure.
- Experience with process mapping or workflow documentation.
- Exposure to project management concepts.
- Interest in physical security technology or risk management.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
