This Spring Internship is from January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 through April 24th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.

Facilities Administration supports the operational backbone of SPE's Global Real Estate, Facilities & S3 organization by ensuring smooth and efficient services across the studio lot and global offices. We utilize various systems to drive space management, employee services, workflow automation, project management, and backlot operations. The team assists in managing conference rooms, provides administrative services, and collaborates on furniture coordination to optimize functionality and comfort for employees. Additionally, we partner with Backlot Operations to coordinate logistics for productions, events, and departmental needs, ensuring seamless integration of facilities and lot services. Through data-driven solutions and operational expertise, we deliver accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures and developing a consolidated playbook of standards, processes, and operating requirements to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Performing administrative tasks such as expense reconciliation, preparing meeting minutes, and scheduling meetings. These processes will then be documented and organized
  • Collaborating with the team to identify AI use cases, focusing on repetitive, rule-based, and data-heavy tasks that could benefit from automation for long-term operational improvements.
  • Coordinating conference room logistics including assisting with access and permissions for conference room spaces to ensure proper utilization
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on Project Management, Facilities Management, or a related field
  • Interest in Facility Systems Management; Familiarity with entertainment and studio operations
  • Interest in Process Improvement, AI Automation and Technology - showing enthusiasm for identifying AI use cases and improving workflows using implemented software and systems
  • Analytical thinking & Problem Solving skills - Capability to analyze workflows and identify repetitive, rule-based tasks that can be automated, demonstrating a problem-solving mindset
  • Proficiency with office software (Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, etc) for tasks such as expense reconciliation, scheduling, and documentation
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting;
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
