This Fall Internship is from September through December 12th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The WW Marketing and Distribution Team is responsible for global Theatrical Marketing & Distribution Finance, as well as HE and TV Marketing Finance as well as financial planning and analysis for Consumer Products, Location-Based Entertainment and Virtual Reality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with Financial Planning & Analysis activities for all groups under WW Finance Marketing and Distribution group.
- Work with the Director on the actualization of ultimates
- Assist with overhead actuals and budgeting.
- Assist the different groups with various Finance ad hoc tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated interest in business/finance through relevant coursework / experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, Word, and Power Point
- Passion for the entertainment industry as a whole
- Under grad student
The Intern will gain experience/exposure to the following:
- An understanding of the broader landscape of the film business and how analytics help guide important decision making from greenlight to release.
- Learn the FP&A process (Budgets, and quarterly forecasts)
- Learn how financial systems are used in real business operations.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
