The Lead, Corporate IT (Workday Platform) partners with internal and external business and technical stakeholders to understand the business processes, workflows, integrations, custom interfaces, data models, data movement and security within the Workforce Management eco-system. Workday is the core Workforce Management platform which was reimplemented from green field in February 2024. The Workday Platform Lead will be a part of the Workforce Management team. This role requires the ability to innovate and deliver key technical functionality on the Workday platform. The role also interacts with various business units and our integration partner to support current and future workflows, integrations, custom interfaces, data models, data movement and security requirements as well as trouble shooting issues and support ticket resolution.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, support and monitor workflows, integrations, custom interfaces, data models and data movement in the Workforce Management technology landscape by utilizing Workday Platform tools.
- Develop deliverables such as integration strategy/plan, integration design templates for each integration, integration test scenarios working with other IT and functional teams and developers, and integration tracking, monitoring and reporting.
- Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment lifecycle.
- Responsible for working with external vendors to provide layouts, requirements gathering, protocols including internal functional leads to understand the end-to-end process for integrations.
- Provide ongoing support for workflows, integrations, custom interfaces, data models, data movement and security in production environment.
- Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management, vendors, and business owners.
- Maintain a robust repository of integrations and data flow maps.
- Author business/functional requirement documents, technical design documents, testing plans/scripts for workflows, integrations, custom interfaces, data models, data movement and security.
- Work with business and technology partners to define requirements and solution options in an agile delivery environment.
- Implement standard operating procedures for tenant management.
- Facilitate sessions with functional owners, technology partners and end-user representatives to ensure processes and technologies align for the most efficient solutions.
- Leverage technical knowledge and expertise to drive improvements.
- Support HCM and Payroll audits, error handling and issue resolution.
Key Competencies/Core Knowledge
- Technical excellence in Workday Platform tools, Workday Studio, Workday Integration Security and Workday tenant management.
- Deep understanding of all Workday integration types includes Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Studio, Core Connectors and Connectors across all HR areas.
- Experience debug existing integrations.
- Workday Extend knowledge in creating/supporting custom application in the Workday environment is a nice to have.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, MIS, related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5+ years designing, building, testing, deploying, supporting Workday Platform tools such as Studio, WECI, and PECI.
- 5+ years Workday reporting, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB),and Workday Platform tools experience.
- Experience with Workday BIRT and Workday calc fields.
- Workday Integration Security.
- Hands-on experience with report writing, data management/data movement in a Workday centric environment.
- Experience with Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $138,000-$167,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
