This Spring 2026 Trainee position is from the January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 to June 26th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on your schedule) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This type of opportunity will jump-start your career and prepare you for a career in the desired field. This is not a remote role. A hybrid work option may or may not be available.
Columbia Pictures is a film studio and film distributor that is a division Sony Pictures The globally oriented studio has produced and financed some of the industry’s most notable franchises including Spider-Man, Jumanji, Bad Boys, Peter Rabbit, Men In Black, Ghostbusters, and Venom.
Responsibilities:
General administrative tasks including phone coverage and running occasional
errands
Preparing and reviewing pitch materials and contributing creative projects
Work closely with executive assistants and other team members to support day-to-day operations.
Create book reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Must have prior internships at production companies/studios
Available to work in-office Monday through Friday
Strong communication skills — both written and verbal
Proactive, organized, and able to manage shifting priorities
Willing to assist with a range of tasks, from creative input to administrative support
Able to take direction and ask clarifying questions when needed
Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion
Familiarity with Mac/PC systems and basic programs like Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
