This Spring Internship is from January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 through April 24th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
North American Distribution Research is a dynamic and data-driven team that supports the distribution and monetization of film and television content in the U.S. and Canada. Distribution Research spans all platforms of television: Network, Cable, Broadcast Syndication, SVOD, AVOD, transactional and other digital platforms. This role is physically located in New York but will provide support for SPT business efforts across North America.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and update daily/weekly/monthly data trackings
Run reports using multiple data tools and applications
Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple sources
Grow to deliver verbal and written insights to team and clients
Assist team members with projects and client requests
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Interest in television content and the television industry
 - Solid Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
 - Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
 - Comfort with data and basic mathematical functions
 - A willingness to learn data tools and the process for analysis
 
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
- Interest in data and analytics
 Any experience consolidating and analyzing large data sets using software/tools (Tableau, etc..)
Familiarity with television and streaming data, particularly Nielsen ratings
Ability to multi-task
Strong time-management skills
The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
