The Sales department of Sony Pictures Classics is seeking a talented Coordinator to join the team. The job responsibilities include:
The Sales Coordinator's responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate theatre information in booking and billing system
- Coordinate and book press, festival, early access, and special event screenings
- Send out trade letters to exhibitors and set up exhibitor trade screenings in all markets
- Input and maintain Airtable data
- Book (sell) all SPC new-release titles in theatres in territories designated by Director, Sales
- Support Sales Department by researching and tracking upcoming film releases
- Back up to Manager, Non-Theatrical Sales
Job requirements:
- Demonstrated passion for independent and foreign cinema and the independent film marketplace
- Strong administrative skills, experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent problem-solving ability
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Foreign Language ability a plus
- BA preferred
- 1 - 2 years related experience
The anticipated base salary for this position is $26.50/hour to $27.50/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
