These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities. 

This Spring Internship is from January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 through April 24th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience. 

The Social Media and PR department at Game Show Network plans and ideates content and helps support programming initiatives to provide a sense of community to our viewers. We engage in community management of Game Show Network’s social media, source content (video and photo) that is used for Game Show Network’s platforms, and brainstorm ideas for fresh content and campaigns. In addition, we are responsible for pitching and handling all the press behind the launching of our new and current shows. This includes press opportunities for hosts, contestants and producers, as well as visiting the sets with press outlets and to gather social media assets. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implementing community management on the Game Show Network social platforms
  • Sourcing and editing clips and content from Game Show Network shows to use for the brand’s social media and writing social media copy
  • Provide reports to team on Game Show Network’s social analytics
  • Working with PR team to promote current and upcoming show, including coming up with ideas for new pitches
  • Research and administrative tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Embodying our culture of being collaborative, a self-starter, competitive, passionate, bold, distinctive, innovative, creative and able to have fun!
  • Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand an audience and cater content to that audience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • The ability to work well with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

  • An upcoming junior or senior student currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program
  • Experience in social media in a company or brand setting
  • Public Relations experience; MUST have experience with Adobe Premiere
  • Preferably has previous experience in an office environment 

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
