We are looking for a highly creative, digitally savvy, and culturally connected Graphic Designer, Social Media to support Sony Pictures Entertainment’s social media and digital marketing initiatives across Latin America.
This role is ideal for a designer who deeply understands social media culture, platform behavior, and digital storytelling. The ideal candidate knows how to design content specifically for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, understanding the creative nuances, audience expectations, formats, and algorithms that drive performance on each platform.
This designer must thrive in a fast-paced entertainment environment and bring a strong creative problem-solving mentality, constantly generating fresh ideas, innovative executions, and platform-native content solutions. The role requires someone who can balance creativity with speed while maintaining high-quality visual standards across multiple brands and campaigns.
The graphic Designer, Social media will support social media campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, branded content, promotional launches, and audience engagement strategies across Sony Pictures Entertainment’s portfolio, including Sony One, TV Networks, FAST Channels, TV Distribution, Ad Sales, and other business units.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Advertising, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Social Media or Digital Designer in entertainment, streaming, media, or premium lifestyle brands
- Proven experience creating and designing campaigns for entertainment brands across social media platforms, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of digital-first and platform-native creative work
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platform ecosystems, including formats, algorithms, audience behaviors, and engagement strategies
- Strong understanding of what drives viral content, audience interaction, and social engagement across platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Experience creating social-first content including reels, short-form video assets, thumbnails, stories, carousels, memes, GIFs, and branded social campaigns
- Strong design, typography, layout, motion, and visual storytelling skills
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and openness to integrating emerging technologies into creative workflows
- Strong understanding of entertainment marketing, digital culture, internet trends, and audience behaviors across LATAM
- This position requires fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce engaging social-first creative assets across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging digital platforms
- Create visually compelling content optimized for platform-specific behavior, audience engagement, and performance
- Develop static and animated graphics, carousels, short-form video assets, thumbnails, memes, GIFs, stories, motion-based content, and other platform-native formats
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Social Media teams, Content Creators, Editors, and Marketing teams to develop innovative digital campaigns
- Adapt global campaign assets into locally relevant content for Latin American audiences
- Support real-time marketing opportunities and reactive social content in fast-moving environments
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate workflows, generate ideas, improve efficiency, and enhance creative executions
- Stay up to date with evolving platform features, social media trends, editing styles, internet culture, and emerging digital behaviors
Nice to Have
- Motion graphics and animation skills
- Experience editing short-form social media videos
- Experience working with content creators, influencers, or social-first campaigns
- Understanding of paid media creative best practices and performance marketing
- Experience adapting global entertainment campaigns for regional LATAM audiences
- Familiarity with AI tools for image generation, editing, ideation, and content optimization
