Basedin our Seoul,Korea office, the Sales Planning and Operations Analyst is an analytical, detailed and process oriented professional who is able to support the development, implementation, execution and ongoing fine-tuning of varied aspects of the sales process including product planning, contracting, data entry, reporting, and more.

Reporting to the Manager of Sales Planning and Operations, in this role you will become a business partner with the South Korean Sales team, as well as regional teams, in the execution and achievement of sales strategies and objectives for the South Korean market.

What You'll Do:

  • Deal Management and Administration - Set up, maintain and manage deals in an inhouse built contracting system and preparing Sales Orders as required.  Track the workflow and approval process of new Contracts, Amendments and Notification for all deals in Korea, including appropriate filing of final documents.

  • Product Management – Become an expert in our product catalogue consisting of Hollywood movies and TV series to maximize its exploitation in commercial deals and offerings in South Korea.

  • Sales & Client Support - Be responsible for Sales Operations functions including preparation and review of product availability lists; review contracts, capture and process amendments, sales data entry into internal systems, etc.

  • Sales Data Management – input, collect, analyze and evaluate the sales data, customize sales reports according to various needs, assist sales in preparing contracts, conduct sales and pricing analysis through sales negotiation process.

  • Budgeting - Assist Sales and Finance in preparing budgets and forecasts.

  • General Administration – coordinate payment and materials delivery, contract follow up, filing and maintain good tracking systems etc.

  • Assist implementation and execution of processes and guidelines for all aspects of sales planning and operations process.

  • Other ad hoc sales support activities as required.

What You Need:

  • Minimum Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or relevant disciplines.

  • Typically 3+ years of work experience in any of the following fields – financial analysis/planning, accounting, forensic accounting, information systems, sales or business operations, or sales planning

  • Knowledge of information systems management, business or sales administration, budgeting and marketing principles would be a plus.

  • Have a detailed but analytical oriented mindset.  With strong experience in handling, managing, analyzing and interpreting large samples of data in a logical and accurate manner.

  • A strong, aggressive and passionate drive to lead and achieve results, and create an environment focused on ongoing improvements in processes, system efficiency and accuracy. Strong strategic and analytical mind-set and focus with the ability to work in teams and under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Korean and English.

  • Excellent computer skills: Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros and etc.), Word and PowerPoint.

  • Must be a team player and have a passionate about the Television or Entertainment industry.

  • Please note that this role is based in South Korea. In order to enable us to meet statutory and regulatory obligations of the South Korean immigration system you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in South Korea for the duration of the employment.
