REQ ID JR112176 Apply View Saved JobsSony Pictures Entertainment’s Theatrical Division in Seoul, South Korea have an exciting opportunity for a Digital/Social Media Coordinator to join them on a 5-month limited term basis to provide support for upcoming theatrically released titles in Korea.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Lead, the Digital/Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the daily planning, execution, and management of digital media and owned social media channels for all theatrically released titles in Korea that are distributed by the Company. This role will also support influencer/creator activations, viral marketing, online events, and other digital campaign activities.
What you will do:
Support the planning and execution of social media strategies for all theatrically released titles in cooperation with internal team and agencies.
Support the preparation, localizing, and delivery of all digital advertising materials from banners to AV in coordination with Digital Lead, digital and video agencies
Coordinate daily social media postings proposed by digital agencies for all owned media channels and help manage social posting calendars, copy review, and content approvals.
Drive consumer engagement by supporting the planning and execution of social media events, livestreams, giveaways, and other online fan activations.
Prepare, localize, and deliver digital/social creative assets including video/image social sharables, clips, featurettes, online spots, and other platform-specific creatives.
Help coordinate influencer, creator, and viral marketing activities including special content creation, influencer interviews, branded content, and paid/earned collaborations.
Communicate with internal stakeholders, home office, and agencies as needed for social media/influencer campaign approvals, schedules, and reporting.
Monitor social performance, online conversation, and competitor activity, and support regular campaign reporting and recaps.
Support various digital initiatives including online recruited screening events, talent tour & talent-related digital opportunities, online community management, and other ad hoc online marketing activities whenever necessary.
What you need:
Bachelor degree, preferably in marketing, communications or business management.
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in social media marketing, digital content, influencer marketing, or entertainment marketing.
Understanding and knowledge of the latest entertainment/digital/social trends and platform behaviors.
Experience coordinating creator/influencer campaigns and online communities is preferred.
Strong copy/caption sense and attention to detail in reviewing social content and creative materials.
Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborative and strong team player. Ability to establish good working relationships with agencies and creators.
Able to multitask and work under a fast-paced environment.
A strong passion for content & cinema.
Fluency in Korean is required.
Available and committed to completing a 5-month contract
